Schengen visa appointment availability in the UK: the earliest slots we have seen
Every row on this page is a reading our own booking desk made: the earliest biometrics appointment showing on the operator's booking site (VFS Global, TLScontact, BLS International, GVC World, or the consulate itself for Poland, Luxembourg and Romania) when the desk looked, or the real appointment it booked for a customer that day. Each one is dated. Nothing is scraped and nothing is estimated, and a reading disappears after 21 days or once its slot has passed, so an empty row means we have no current reading, not that there are no slots. The desk logs every destination at least weekly.

Times are London days. A reading is an observation on the day it was made, not a promise about today: slots are released by the operator without notice and move daily. The same readings feed the slot line on each country page and are published as JSON at /api/availability.
No. 02 · How to read this
What each column means
- Earliest slot seen
- The first bookable day on the operator's calendar when the desk looked, or the day of a real appointment it booked for a customer. A booking is the strongest evidence there is: a slot existed on that day, and no one had to type anything.
- No slots showing
- The calendar showed no appointment at all on the day of the reading. That is a dated observation, not a forecast: operators release slots without notice, and a calendar that is empty today can have dates tomorrow.
- No current reading
- Nobody on the desk has logged this destination in the last 21 days, or the slot we saw has now passed. We would rather show nothing than a stale date. The desk logs every destination at least weekly, so the row fills in.
- Checked
- The London day the desk made the reading.
- Trend
- This reading against the one about a week before it, when we have one. “Nearer” means the earliest date is earlier than it was; “further out” means later. A first reading has no trend yet.
- Centre
- The centre the reading was made at. Most countries can be lodged at any of their UK centres, so the desk checks all of them, and the country's appointment page lists the alternatives.
No. 03 · What we do with it
The desk books the first slot that fits
These readings are a by-product of the work. Our booking desk checks each operator's calendar every working day for the customers whose applications it is preparing, and books the first appointment that fits their dates. On the done-for-you service that booking is made within three working days of your complete file, or the service fee comes back: the booking promise in our terms sets out exactly what that covers.
We never sell a slot or charge for one.Booking is free on every operator's site, and our £99 is for the preparation and booking work, with the consulate fee and the centre fee paid by you at the centre, never marked up. We do not hold slots, we do not run bots, and we do not deal with resellers: consulates have voided appointments booked that way, and a patient routine of manual checks on the official system beats them anyway.
When a destination shows no slots at all, the plan step says so before you pay, and the booking promise pauses for that destination until they reappear. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of a date, and the consulate alone decides the visa.
