About
An independent UK visa tools project
Free, browser-based tools and editorial guides for UK visa applicants. No accounts, no uploads, no advertising trackers.
Why this exists
The UKVI online application portal won't merge your supporting scans. UKVCAS caps each upload at 6 MB. VFS Global caps at 2 MB. Your phone shoots HEIC and the system rejects it. The Home Office's checklists are generic; they don't tell you which order to upload documents in.
These are small, practical problems that break thousands of UK visa applications every year — and there was no tool built specifically for them. So we built one. Free, browser-only, and honest about what it can and can't do.
What we do
- Bundler — merges your supporting documents into one ordered PDF in the order UKVI expects, with an auto-generated cover sheet and clickable index.
- Compress— shrinks any PDF to fit the 2 MB, 4 MB, or 6 MB visa portal limits.
- Checklist — generates a personalised document checklist for your visa route, country, dependants and switching status.
- Editorial guides — accurate, current route guides reviewed by an IAA-registered adviser before publication.
What we don't do
- We don't give immigration advice. We're not regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA). Anything touching individual eligibility or strategy belongs with an IAA-registered adviser.
- We don't upload your documents. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Your passport scans, bank statements and payslips never leave your device.
- We don't sell your data. There's no advertising tracker on this site. Plausible is used for privacy-first analytics — no cookies, no personal data.
- We don't hide costs. The free tools are free forever. We plan to launch a small premium tier (£2.99 one-off / £9.99/month) that removes a single watermark line on the bundler cover sheet and adds OCR for scanned documents. Everything else stays free.
How we stay accurate
Every fee, threshold and processing time on this site is cross-checked against gov.uk weekly. The verification date appears at the top of every guide. Visa-route content is reviewed by an IAA-registered immigration adviser before publication and at each quarterly review.

Who's behind it
findmyvisa is built and maintained by Mahadheer Manu, an indie maker based in the UK. The site is independent — not affiliated with the Home Office, UKVI, UKVCAS, VFS Global, or any law firm.
Sister projects
findmyvisa is part of the WayaNerd group. We also operate:
- Tarve — a UK visa-sponsored jobs board for international applicants searching for sponsoring employers.
All sites are independently built and editorially independent. Cross- references between them are contextual and disclosed — see our editorial policy.
