How it works

  1. 01

    Send your documents

Pay the £99 service fee, answer a short questionnaire and upload your documents to your own secure account. Full refund if you cancel before we start. If anything is missing we ask once, in one list, and the clocks below pause until you send it.

  2. 02

    Prepared within 24 hours

Within 24 hours of your complete file we complete the forms and build your document pack to the TLScontact checklist, in the order the counter wants it, or your fee back. You see the pack in your account before anything is lodged.

  3. 03

Appointment booked within 3 working days

We book on the official TLScontact site, in your own name and account, within 3 working days of your complete file, subject to availability, or your fee back. The clock pauses while the centre shows no appointments at all, and the plan step tells you so before you pay. For France, TLScontact allocates short-stay appointments itself: we register your validated application on the day your file is complete, which is what "booked" means for France, and we tell you the moment the allocation email arrives so you can pay within TLScontact's 12-hour window; the appointment cannot be rescheduled.

  4. 04

    Attend and collect

You attend the TLScontact centre in person for fingerprints and a photo, hand over the pack and pay the official fees at the counter (the €90 consulate fee and the TLScontact fee, about £126 together). The consulate decides, normally within 15 calendar days, and your passport comes back by courier or collection. We stay on WhatsApp throughout.

Family or friends on the same trip? £69 for each additional applicant on one order, up to 5. Six or more, we quote. Both promises are written into our terms.

What is and is not included

In the £99

  • Forms completed, including any consulate portal step, checked against your passport line by line
  • Document pack built to the TLScontact checklist, with a what-to-bring list for the day
  • Appointment booked on the official TLScontact site, in your own name and your own account
  • WhatsApp replies within the hour, day or night, before and after you pay

Not included

  • The €90 consulate fee and the TLScontact fee, paid by you at the centre on the day (about £126 together; never marked up, never through us)
  • Travel insurance with at least €30,000 of medical cover: you buy it (from about £12) and we tell you what qualifies
  • The decision, which is the consulate's alone. We do not guarantee approval and no honest service can
  • Immigration advice. We prepare documents and book appointments; we do not advise on your UK status

Who this is for

You live in the UK, your passport needs a visa for France, and the France-Visas wizard, the TLScontact portal and the new allocation system are three things you would rather not learn under time pressure. We complete the application, build the pack, register you with TLScontact the day your file is complete and tell you exactly what to pay at the counter. You attend the appointment with your passport.

France decided 129,940 UK applications in 2025, every one of them at the consulate in London, and refused 8.5%: 10,994 files, the largest number of refusals of any Schengen state that year, up from 6.0% in 2024. A refused France file costs the consulate fee, the TLScontact fee, the non-refundable bookings and the trip. A complete, consistent file is what we are for.

What changed in 2026, and why it makes preparation the whole game

Since 1 August 2026 TLScontact's London (Wandsworth) and Manchester centres have allocated short-stay appointments automatically, and Edinburgh followed on 11 September 2026. You no longer pick a date from a calendar. You complete and validate the France-Visas application, register with TLScontact, and TLScontact emails you an appointment. Once it arrives you have 12 hours to pay, and the appointment cannot be rescheduled. If nothing is allocated within 60 days the registration is deleted and has to be made again.

That removes the thing slot bots used to sell, which is good. It also means the date can land at any time and your file has to be ready to walk into the centre when it does, because TLScontact staff check it against the France-Visas checklist at the counter. We register you only when the file is complete, and we tell you the allocated date the moment the email arrives, so you can pay within the 12-hour window.

What you get for £99

  • The France-Visas application completed and validated in your name, from your documents, checked against your passport line by line; the wizard's personal checklist is what we build the pack to.
  • A document pack to the TLScontact checklist: a passport issued within 10 years with 3 months' validity beyond your return and 2 blank pages, the printed and signed France-Visas form, 2 photos to the spec, proof of UK residence (BRP, eVisa share code or visa), accommodation for every night and return travel, bank statements (typically the last 3 months) with payslips, an employer or student letter, insurance meeting the €30,000 rule, and a short cover letter. In the counter's order, with a what-to-bring list.
  • Your TLScontact registration made the day your file is complete, in your own account, and the allocated date sent to you the moment it arrives, so you can pay within the 12-hour window. For France this is what "booked within 3 working days" means, and the terms say so.
  • A person on WhatsApp who replies within the hour, day or night, before and after you pay.

Who books, and whereIn your own France-Visas and TLScontact accounts, in your own name. No bots, no scripts, no resold slots, no request for your password or one-time code. See how we book your appointment.

TLScontact says the UK change was made to "protect visa applicants from fraudulent and costly third-party agencies" (reported by The Connexion, 13 October 2026). That is also why our fee is £99, published, and refundable.

What we will not do

  • We will not promise a visa. The French consulate decides.
  • We will not promise a date. TLScontact issues it; we promise the registration, the pack and the alert the moment the date arrives.
  • We will not give immigration advice about your UK status.
  • We will not touch France-Visas or TLScontact with a bot, a script or a pooled account, and we will not pay anyone for an appointment.

Rather do it yourself?

You do not need an agent. The full process is in our France visa from the UK guide, the allocation system is explained on the TLScontact France appointment page, the document list is on the France documents page, and the free checklist generator builds your own list. Hand it over only if your time, or the cost of a refused file, is worth more than £99 to you.

Common questions

  1. 01

Can you get me a TLScontact France appointment faster?

Nobody can, and we will not pretend otherwise. Since 1 August 2026 TLScontact's London (Wandsworth) and Manchester centres allocate short-stay France appointments automatically, and Edinburgh followed on 11 September 2026: you register, your validated application joins TLScontact's queue, and the date is emailed to you. There is no calendar to refresh and no bot can help. What we do is make sure the France-Visas application is validated and registered the day your file is complete, so you are in the queue as early as possible with a file that will pass the counter.

  2. 02

What does 'booked within 3 working days' mean for France?

For France, 'booked' means registered. Our promise is that your validated application is registered with TLScontact within 3 working days of your complete file, or the service fee comes back; in practice we do it the same day. TLScontact then allocates the appointment and emails the date. We tell you the moment the email arrives, because you have 12 hours to pay once an appointment is allocated and it cannot be rescheduled. If nothing is allocated within 60 days the registration is deleted, and we re-register you.

  3. 03

What do I pay at the TLScontact centre?

The €90 consulate fee (about £81) for an adult, €45 for a child aged 6 to 11 and nothing for a child under 6, plus TLScontact's service fee. TLScontact does not publish its exact UK fee openly; France-Visas gives the provider fee as €40 to €55, so we budget about £45 per applicant. Call it about £126 per adult at the centre, none of it through us and none of it marked up. Our £99 is separate, so one adult is about £225 all in, plus insurance from about £12 that you buy.

  4. 04

Why does a prepared file matter more for France than it used to?

Because the allocated appointment cannot be rescheduled and must be paid for within 12 hours. Under the old calendar you could pick a date three weeks out and finish your documents in the meantime; now the date arrives when TLScontact issues it, and TLScontact checks your file against the France-Visas checklist at the counter. A file that is complete before you register is the only safe way to use the system. France also refused 8.5% of UK applications in 2025, 10,994 files, the largest number of refusals of any Schengen state.

  5. 05

Which centre should I choose: London, Manchester or Edinburgh?

Whichever you can reach. France states there is no consular area inside the UK, so a UK resident may apply at any of the three TLScontact centres, and every UK application is decided by the consulate in London. All three now allocate appointments automatically, so the choice is about travel time on the day, not about which calendar looks emptier.

  6. 06

Do you need my France-Visas or TLScontact password?

No. Both accounts are in your name; we set them up with you or you create them and we work alongside you. We never ask for a password or a one-time code, never run software against either site, and never buy or sell an appointment. TLScontact introduced automatic allocation to protect applicants from costly third-party agencies, and we agree with the principle: our fee is £99, published, and refundable under our terms.

  7. 07

Can you do my family on one order?

Yes. The first applicant is £99 and each additional applicant on the same order is £69, up to five in one checkout; six or more is a group we quote by WhatsApp. Each person pays their own consulate and TLScontact fees at the centre. Children need the extra documents on our children's page, which we build into the pack, and each applicant needs their own France-Visas application, which we complete.
